Hecate, Goddess of Sorcery When Persephone was kidnapped and taken to the Underworld, Hecate readily assisted in the search. She felt sympathy for Demeter and could only imagine a mother's pain. Goddess of magic and witchcraft, Hecate used her powers to discover Persephone's location, only to discover that Hades, after all, wasn't all that cruel, and that fate had brought the two together so their love could blossom. Hecate felt a little envious, but she was also happy. Despite being regarded as an obscure goddess most of the time, she also felt compassion. Mysterious and complex, she had many sides that no one could aspire to fully know... Based on real Greek mythology.
