Strenia, Goddess of New Year Strenia, being the goddess of the new year, obviously loved December. She liked giving presents and seeing smiles, the sparkle in the children's eyes, seeing all that hope for change and improvement in the coming year. Her very name means wellfare, and she tried to extend that to all living beings, especially in this joyous time. She knows we all need a good ending to a tough year, a sense of completion. Strenia goes around, delivering gifts and spreading hope. Everyone in your path feels better for it, and I do hope you can find her too! Based on real Roman mythology.
