Nasmat the Muckwalker

Nasmat has intrigued the Pride by- purposefully- growing moss on her back. It takes delicate work and a lot of ingenuity of her part, which is in and of itself rather impressive. Nasmat, along with her flying companion Deitri, make a pair of efficient hunters. Deitri does not consume meat, but he helps Nasmat in her hunting of small game by giving calls that indicate a prey item's location. The moss on her back hides her in the wet, muddy banks of the Rosewater River.

Rumara is strict even as Nasmat has reached her majority. It grates on her greatly, and often she finds refuge away from areas her mother is willing to frequent, like the river. All to avoid another lecture about what she did wrong that day, and why. The only thing that seems to impress her mother is Nasmat's hunting methods, and the fact that she isn't adverse to submerging herself in water like most lions.
