When Jim was born he was the smallest cub of the clan but being the 1st male cub Gene Starwind told Beset to keep a close eye on him and make him strong. As time when on he became much bigger and stronger. He was excited to take over as king one day when a very beautiful Leopon caught his eye but in order to claim her as his own he had to give up his future as king of his clan and fight her father for her paw in marriage. So he did just that and because of his bravery and loyalty to himself Gene let them stay in the clan.
