Biography

Silver'Soot is dirty.
Notable cubs:
1x Mane Fluffy

Upon your approach, Silver'Soot pauses licking her paw and boops your nose, giggling.

You were having a nice conversation with Silver'Soot when she suddenly suggests heading to the jungle to look at the cool fungi! Wait, right now? Really?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A blinding light landed on her eyes as she looked around. After a few minutes, Silver'Soot could finally see: a small, dull gecko crept by, looking at the lioness with tiny piercing eyes. She started to feel uncomfortable; the tiny creature emanated a strange aura, as if it could suddenly turn into a huge tiger and attempt to kill her. She pawed at the lizard and snarled, but it just stood there.... completely unbothered. Was it dead? Silver'Soot shooed the reptile until it finally decided to leave, letting out high-pitched squeaks. What a weird experience.
------------------------------------------------
A loud, lamenting roar echoed through the savannah. the loud, aggravating noise of the crickets fainted in the night. A limping male flinched at every step, grunting in pain. Silver'Soot watched the male silently as she followed him, helping him every time he was about to fall face on the ground. They finally settled in a cave, where they took a long, restful sleep. Silver'Soot woke before the male did so, and decided to go for a walk. She padded out and sighed as she walked, dry leaves rustling beneath her paws. Tall spring trees shook in silence with the blow of the wind, announcing light rain. Colorful birds sang as loud as they could, in hopes of attracting a potential mate, while others nested in leafy, safe trees. Something was off though, not in her surroundings, but herself. She felt it, but was unsure of what it could be. Feeling strange suddenly, she returned to the cave and sat on the entrance, looking at the now awake lion.
"Silver, is something.. wrong with you?" The male asked in a deep, raspy voice. "N-No! Well, yes. I'm not sure what it is though." She replied nervously, looking at the male, her tongue sticking out from her mouth. She hated it. She hated her tongue, looking like she was always taunting everyone, even in the most serious situations. She was doomed to have this silly appearance until her last breath, when she could finally be free from this cursed body, or perhaps not. Silver'Soot looked at the male, worried. Does Sol hate me? She asked herself. "Oh, don't look at me like that. I know what you're thinking. I think you're really pretty, and you look even more cute with your tongue like that! I love you, Silver'Soot."
The lioness smiled and laid by his side as they listened to the beautiful song of the birds.
-------------------------------------------------
I'm doomed, Silver'Soot told herself. Not only because of her tongue, but of something else. Why can't I be happy? She repeated several times in her head, looking at the ground desperately. "I atleast hoped to have some cubs, but no. I can't. WHY? Why do I have to be infertile? What is wrong with me?" She cried, tears running down her face. Sol rubbed his head against hers, trying to recomfort her. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault things have to be like this." The lioness sighed, turning to Sol. They watched the sunrise for a while before she finally decided to go hunting, in hopes of distracting herself for a bit. Sol followed along but kept his distance, and finally hid behind a large rock when Silver'Soot spotted a prey. A male warthog rummaged in the bushes, looking for a few snacks. She quickly ducked in the grass and slowly began approaching, however, the warthog already saw her and ran away screaming. The two lions immediately began chasing after it uselessly, it was already gone. She snarled in frustration and began trotting away, grunting a warning at Sol to leave her alone for now as soon as he started following her. The male stopped and looked at her, nodding as he turned around and left.
But he never came back. Silver'Soot thought he was gone for a walk, or hunting, as odd as that could be, specially because he was a massive, clumsy male, she went searching for him and even followed his scent for a while, but his scent was gone after a while. She grown worried and called for Sol with loud roars, but not even the cackle of hyenas or the distinctive alarm call of a prey was heard. He was gone, forever, and she would never know the reason of his sudden dissapearance.
-------------------------------------------------
1 month passed, and she was still alone and somehow still alive. The drought was already here, threatening to snatch the lives of preys and predators. She walked for a while through the endless dry savannah, and finally, after suffering a lot from the horrible heat of the scorching sun, she saw water. But she wasn't alone there. A whole pride of lions rested next to the water source, sharing tongues. She tried avoiding them and crouched to the other side of the pond, but was easily spotted by one of the lionesses. They were aggressive at first, but a large male lion offered her shelter. He later introduced himself as Mdogo, the king of this pride. She became fond of him and soon decided to join the pride for protection. But the pride didn't only offer protection, food and training. Each time the lioness was in heat, Mdogo fed Silver'Soot an odd herb, telling her that it would help her become fertile until she gave birth to her cubs. She happily accepted the herbs, and as the male promised, she gave birth to a female cub. But it wasn't just a cub, when the cub grew, she showed a special trait that no other lioness in the pride had. A mane. Silver'Soot also gave birth to another cub, but this cub had a different fate in another pride, and soon had to leave once she was old enough to do so.
