Finding the air of the cave to be dense with the pressure of eyes on you, you just hope to get passed this and get what you wanted to do done without a hitch. Then you make eye contact with the Amber eyes of Tulip. There's an air around her you can't pinpoint, but she holds herself high - and the way she moves. Wow. She's a broodmother, you can tell. She saunters up to you and whispers in your ear "Keep moving. We're watching."
Ruby wasn't kidding.
Damien met Tulip when he was exploring territories, the particular territory he was visiting being home to a unique and colourful pride. He soon found out that the King was making some lionesses move out, some with dowries and some without, so he came up to strike a conversation with a few of them. Understandably, most are a little upset at moving away, but he eventually sets eyes on Tulip. She's taking the overall news well and preparing herself with her head held high.
Damien came up to her, introduced himself and they got along great. He invited her to come join him in his pride, to which he was immediately asked to pay the dowrie. He was not familiar with such a tradition, but he paid anyway and the King gave his blessings before they left.
Damien found out quick that despite her graceful actions and overall aura and movements, Tulip had a frightening side to her - if she wanted to, she could have become a Hunter no questions asked, but she wanted to be a broodmother.
When Tulip birthed Tulip Stone and Tulip Crystal, she was astonished by both of them - by Tulip Crystal's proud and strong personality and by Tulip Stone's lack of claws. But she loves them anyway.
When Ruby suggested Tulip Stone to be Damien's Hair, this again astonished Tulip. Her Baby? The Next heir? Not Ruby's? It was one of the few times everyone's seen Tulip's Graceful anterior drop.
Tulip Crystal went to have fun in the world while Tulip Stone stayed as the heir.
When her son is in the middle of his adolescence, she gave birth to one cub. Tulip Stone and Beauty were excited at the birth of their new brother.
Tulip named him Tulip Gem.
But, as he grew, Tulip Gem wanted to explore the world just like his older sister. So he did.
Tulip was a little upset after her third born left, but she moved on, knowing his adventure is just beginning.
Then she became pregnant again, Tulip Stone is an adult this time and waiting eagerly to meet his sibling or siblings.
When Tulip Jewel was born, she was weak and frail. Tulip and her eldest were both concerned, Damien more so. This little One was very ill.
Eventually, the poor thing didn’t survive to Adolescence. Tulip mourned for her lost cub.
She then birthed Tulip Pebble.
Tulip Pebble grew up to be a lovely lioness.
She birthed Tulip Rock.
She birthed Tulip Iggy and Tulip Meta.
