Bread (Aroon)

Aroon, nicknamed Bread after her scruffy appearance and her soft looks, was once captured by humans as an adolescent and forced to preform in a circus. She escaped after a terrible earthquake that shook the plateau and fled into the vast plains of Africa. Here she met a young male by the name of Cyu. Cyu was a gentle brute, his scary appearance never deterred her. She and Cyu had an unbreakable bond, the two becoming very very close. This bond had been challenged over and over again- but the two remained close and in love. Her world was shaken when humans captured her pride, shipping the lions off to a mystical land named Thailand.

The pride was released into closed wilderness, being watched and studied by humans. Cyu, Bread, and the rest of the pride immensely disliked this and felt uncomfortable. They were in a wide open land, but they were surrounded by buildings and things that were touched by the humans. They stayed here for a very long while until they met a young lion named Bluesky. Bluesky told the lions that she was like them- and she knows a way out. But the price to pay for this was power. Bluesky wanted a pride of her own. Bread pleaded with Cyu not to take this deal but Cyu did not listen. He gracefully demoted himself to submale as Bluesky replaced him. Bluesky led the pride out of capture and into the new and unfamiliar wilderness.

As the pride was led along, they began to see other lions and lion prides. It was strange, why did humans put them in such a place? Was it fate? Did the ancestors demand this? The lions were confused but found a place unclaimed and settled there. The whole time, Bluesky seemed dodgy and pushy but treated most lionesses with respect. She however did not care for the cubs or adolescents, often letting them starve. Bread had a hatred for Bluesky as she watched the cruel lion ridicule Cyu. Eventually Bread had her heart shattered as Cyu washed up dead near a river. She was sure that Bluesky was behind this, but she could not prove that Bluesky had truly killed her beloved. She was punished for this- exiled into banished lands. She roamed around as a lone lioness. She then gave birth to two beautiful cubs- one named Exxus and the other unknown. She eventually found the statue of Psylla and rested there until she passed peacefully from old age, reuniting with her beloved as a spirit.
