It was a cold rainy night. I was cuddled up with my mother sleeping soundly till I heard lighting off in the distance. I jumped awake looking around the cave. As I look around I spot two glowing eyes staring at me. I try waking up my mom but she wouldn't wake up. Then I see the set of glowing eyes get closer and closer. I run to hide and then there was more eyes. Another flash of lighting brighten up the cave momentarily and I noticed it was a pack of hyenas. I cried hoping they won't kill my mother. Then that's when the carnage happened. The hyenas viciously attacked my mother and she fought. As the fighting continued one of the hyenas spotted me and my mom yelled "RUN!" I ran out of that cave and into the rainy night. I ran and ran until I couldn't run anymore. My little legs grew tired and I passed out. When I woke up I was being poked by a snout of a large male lion. I cried in fear that this male will surely kill me. The stranger said, "Sorry little one didn't mean to scare you. I was trying to see if you were still alive." I look up at the stranger and ask, "Who are you? And where is my mom?" He frowns and says, "Well little one my name's Chad. Also I'm not sure where your mom is. Unfortunately we are miles away from a different territory so I'm assuming very far away." I cry from knowing I probably lost my mother for good. Then Chad picks me up from the scruff and carries me towards a nice welcoming den. He said, "Little one stay here until you are strong enough to leave. It's not safe for you out there." He hands me a large piece of meat and prepares a nice soft place to sleep with leaves and feathers. I said, "By the way my name's North Star. I appreciate everything you are doing for me." He smiles and says, "No problem North Star. It's just in my nature to help lions just like you." After a few months he prepares me to take care of myself and able to search for my mother without getting myself killed. He even gave me back a companion, a little blue pigeon. I named him Frank. I thank Chad for helping me in my time of need and I head off in search of my mother and pride.

The frist night after leaving the pride that took me in was scary, I'm glad I had frank to keep me company though. I had walked back to the area where chad had found me and wandered off that way in hopes of finding my mother. I spent four days wandering, walking, walking, and walking more.I was able to stay somewhat hydrated, but soon food became an issue. I wasn't very good at catching any prey, I had grown very hungry. On the last night of my unsuccessful searching, I caught the smell of food the smell alone made me feel full.I ran towards it excited, expecting someone's leftovers but instead I soon smelt other lions before I could stop runing I saw them. I laid low in the grass wanting to stay hidden from the strangers. I sat for a second observing the scene, five lionesses stood over two freshly killed addexs. "Good work you guys, we just have to get them back to the others." Said one the others started dragging the bodies. I was going to start quietly walking off, but I bumbed in to a dry bush. It made a horrible nosie, it felt so loud my whole body shivered. I saw one of the lionesses ears perck up. I was so scared, as I was getting ready to run away the lionesses looked over at the grass and bushes I thought I was hidden in. She walked over to the bushes, I knew she saw me. I was to scared to move I felt like I wasn't really there. But I remembered my mom, my pride, how desperately I wanted to be with her again. I gathered all my courage and said "Hey, please leave me alone I'm just lost!". I stood up from the grass getting ready to run, the other lionesses had looked over at me "you're the one wacthing us" said the lioness trying not to laugh. "I'm sorry I just smelt food, I'm so hungry" I said feeling embarrassed. "What pride do you belong to?" Said the lioness. I explained to her that I was trying to find my pride, after she had a sad look on her face. "What's your name?" She said with a kinder voice."My names North Star" I replied."My name is Reliable" "why don't you come back and eat with us and we can try to help you figure out where you're trying to go" she replied. I walked back to there pride with them frank had been wacthing from a tree not wanting to become a snack to them. When he saw it was safe he came along with me. After that encounter I had stayed with Reliable and her pride for a month she was one of the hunters. I went on a lot of hunts with her and the other lionesses. I am grateful for all that she thought me. The pride was welcoming to me and I will never forget it but I knew I had to continue on. After a lot of goodbyes and emotions, I set off to find my mom with frank.

Frank was good company during my travels. He would often fly ahead and let me know if there was danger. One morning he landed far ahead of me and didn't return. I hurried over to where I saw him and was very surprised to see a young cub. She looked young enough to still be nursing, and certainly too young to be out away from her pride. She was surrounded by thorns, but she didn't seem injured. So I gently picked her up by her scruff and set off towards the sounds of a den near by. As I approached I heard a lioness shouting "Lavandula! Lavandula where are you?" I gently set her down and called out letting the mother know I had found her cub. A beautiful blue lioness rushed over and began looking Lavandula over for injuries. "I cant thank you enough!" The lioness exclaimed, "She is too curious for her own good. And what about you? You look too young to be out hunting by yourself?" As I told the kind lioness my story, I learned her name was Hyacinth. She offered to let me rest with her pride for a few months. I was grateful for the rest, but I couldn't let myself be too comfortable. Even though Hyacinth thought me too young, in a few months I would be an adult. Then I would be strong enough to make my way back to my pride. I have no other choice.

I see 2 tail lion playing and asks where is your mom little one she tell me that her pride will be back and just goes in to the cave please come join me and my siblings we don't bite well not hard and later that Evening the adults come back and the king Georgeberry asks where are you from little one my name is Georgeberry and these are my cubs and step cubs that I took in your look for your mom well I can see if some pack around here knows where you and go but take this Beetle for a thank you for look after my cubs her name is berryred

Northstar wandered into the pride everyone was complaining about she ran right into the king that was making plants show up everywhere he stepped and ruining the entire savanna she did not stay long just about one day and left quickly but the king was sorry for causing a mess and gave her some plants of her own.

NorthStar had been walking for what seemed like weeks but was only days before she came to a small watering hole and leaned over for a drink and lapped eagerly at the water when she saw movement out of the corner of her eye. When she whipped around to see what it was, she saw
A strange camo colored lioness who had only come to see who she was and when she whipped around, she jumped back. "Woah, calm down. Where are you heading?" the lioness asked in a calm tone. "Oh, I'm just going from pride to pride, may I stay in yours next?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "Why yes you can, follow me." the lioness said turning and leaving and NorthStar followed her. "So, my name it North Star, what is yours?" North asked as she walked next to the lioness. "Burnt Camo, but most just call me Miss, or sometimes just Camo. Well, we're here. You can make yourself at home." Camo said before walking away. And that's just what North did, she made herself right at home.

North Star and Frank continued their journey in high spirits. The next territory they came upon was a mangrove swamp, flush with leafy plants, extravagant flowers and pools of rainwater. As North Star padded through the trees, Frank began chattering and tugging at her fur. After spending so much time with the little pigeon, North Star knew how to recognise his calls; it was the alarm cry he used whenever a new lion approached. She looked around for the stranger, but the bright sunlight and viridescent foliage made it difficult to identify anything.
"Up here!" called a high, sweet-sounding voice. She looked up, and stretched out on the bough of the tree was the most vibrant lioness she had ever seen: she had startlingly pink fur, like the inside of a hibiscus flower, with paler streaks the colour of falling orchid petals. North Star had never seen such a colourful lion. She was starstruck.
The lioness gave a flutey giggle. "It's okay, I don't bite! I'm Persephone. Who are you, and why haven't I seen you before?" She rolled over, pausing to stretch her paws to the sunlight, and then - much to North Star's alarm - she dropped off the side of the tree. North Star dashed forward, expecting to see Persephone in a heap on the mangrove floor - but to her surprise, the tree seemed to shift around her, lifting up a branch to catch her. It lowered Persephone to the ground, and she headbutted it like a pridemate before stepping off her branch.
North Star was stunned. Persephone seemed very amused with this. She guided her through the mangrove swamp to the beach, where they spent some time swapping stories and fishing in the rockpools. Persephone was fascinated to meet a lioness from outside her pride, and she thought Frank was absolutely adorable. She seemed to have a strange affinity with plants; flowers sprouted up from the ground at her feet, and giant roots shifted in the soil to make room for her while she walked. When it was time for North Star to go, Persephone pressed her nose against her cheek and purred, "Plants talk to each other, North Star. My gift is no greater than anyone else's; I just know how to listen. If you listen, they'll protect you where you go."
As Persephone spoke, the vines hanging overhead seemed to lean inwards, as if listening. From that day onward, wherever North Star went, she would notice similar-looking vines in odd places: twined around a boulder, peeking out through cracks in the soil, wrapped around her tail overnight. Almost as if the plants were looking after her.

Lore: North star trotted along the blazing savvanah, looking for a nice place to drink fresh pond water when she came across an oasis in the middle of the savvanah. North thought she was extremely lucky and quickly went to sip up the oasis water. Then, she saw a cub approaching out of the corner of her eye- Icina was curiously checking her out, before hangi ran in front of icina, ears back and roaring. North quickly stated she meant no harm and hangi then apologized and greeted her. She then led North to the pride where she was swarmed by cubs and enjoyed her time there before she had to leave to visit yet naohter territory. Everyone pawed goodbye and they even have her some nice souvenirs to take with her on her long journey.
