Her life during the war of the pack and pride was a harsh one. The battling between the two had cost her greatly, she lost her mother and sisters during the fighting. She saved Kirac's life during an attack by Fane on the pride's south border and the two became inseparable. Neph was the first lioness Kirac courted after taking on the title of king. She borne him his first son and then continued to look after the cubs of the pride till she passed from old age. Kirac died a few days later, their pride members all agree that he could not stand to be without his queen.
