Akari

Born (male, 32 stats) on 22/02/23 along with 3 litter-sisters, used a CRB as part of an ongoing project attempting to breed my first lethal... Definitely not what I was going for, but okay??
Stared at the Cub Health message for a good few minutes like "...What." Can't believe this has happened to me twice now (tho TBF my first Gon was bred with the Tigon Boost©, this kiddo's just dumb luck) 😅
First Gen 'Gon Number 280 according to his sire's Cubs Bred list (checked like 5 mins after he arrived lol)
Born during the reign of Lowell, a Light Pie Triumph male and Akari's maternal great-grandfather ^^

22/02/23 (12 hours after birth) - to help differentiate from my beloved Natalia (and also to provide a little variation on the Gen 1 'Gon design), changed eye colour from Sunglow to Intense Gold and changed mane colour from Nacarat to White. And yea I know Nacarat and Sunglow are both breed only colours, but they're just not nice-looking enough for me to want cubs to inherit them lmao 😂

08/03/23: Got a bit impatient and aged up from 1yr 2m old to 1 year 11 months (used Medlar Fruit to get training bar up to at least 75%) 😅 Aged up her litter-sister Kasumi as well.

23/08/23: Passed away at 15y 7m old 😿 Immediately resurrected via Canopic Jellyfish tho, wheeee

Breeding Log
Note: After looking up the highest possible amount of heats (using a Zebra heart to induce first heat upon aging up and IBFing each litter), which would be 8 without the use of Yohimbe Barks, I purchased 8 Buffalo Scrotes and 8 IBFs, which will be used for each of Akari's litters.

09/03/23: First breeding (Zebra Heart used, applied Hyena Meat and Angelic Blessing at this point). Result was 3 cubs, 1 with Mottled Stripes, no muts.

29/03/23: Second breeding - result was 4 cubs. No mutations, but 2 had Mottled Stripes and 1 inherited the Mandarin base ^^

18/04/23: 3rd breeding - 3 cubs, still no 'Gons or muts :) One Mottled Stripes and one Triumph base tho.

08/05/23: 4th breeding - 3 cubs, including Akari's first Tigon (a Champagne girl)! Other cubs were a potato boy and a second Champagne girl with Mottled Stripes, neither were mutated. ((Sold Gon cub at 7 months old for 200GB, kinda lowballed it BC I didn't want a repeat of the previous times I've tried to sell hybrids for 225-250 and had a dozen people watching the trade and no-one buying... New owner aged the cub up, bred her, got rid of cubs and then immediately put her up for sale for 250GB 🙃 {If you're reading this, one of my pet peeves is when users buy a lion from me then put it up for sale as soon as possible, for a more expensive price than they paid... obvs it's well within their rights to do that, it's their lion at that point, I'm just like. I'd much rather sell to someone who actually appreciates the lion than someone who just wants to make a profit 🥲 That's also the reason why I stopped treeing cubs with rosettes and mutations, BC almost every time I'd check on the cub the next day and find it listed in a trade for several GB 🙃🙃 Anyway! Rant over, lol}))

28/05/23: 5th breeding - 3 cubs, no muts, 1 with Mottled Stripes and the others were complete potatoes. Akari, my love, you're trying my patience! You've only had 1 4-cub litter so far and passed your mutation once, please try harder!!

18/06/23: 6th breeding - 3 cubs, all potatoes. *Screams*

08/07/23: 7th breeding - Another 3 potatoes. Like the last litter, they were all checked for muts, then killed immediately. Akari I love u but I need GB to mut replace both my new kings in a couple months 🥲🥲 Pleaaase come through on your final litter!

30/07/23: At 13 years 8 months, Akari came into heat - I was considering using a CRB so I can hopefully get at least an AMP from her final litter, as she would still be able to breed a couple of days before she turns 14. I decided to have Lowell II breed her without using a Buffalo Scrot, and if the ultrasound revealed 4 cubs, I'd IBF; if not, I'd CRB. Of course, there were only 2 cubs, so they got Yeeted immediately.
02/08/23: 8th breeding, after CRB cooldown ended (so Akari was 13 years 11 months old)... 3 cubs, no muts, no special bases. The only noteworthy one, who I'll be keeping, is a Nacarat-based female with Mottled Stripes and 506 stats. Hopefully she can grow up to produce better cubs than her dam.
