Lady Quenya

Quenya is a graceful, diplomatic young lioness, a combination of trained comportment and youthful curiosity. You can tell she's trying to be graceful, but failing; everything is just so exciting and she just can't keep still!!

She originally came to the Acropolis with a group of lionesses, visiting from a distant kingdom. They were meant to leave as a group, but Quenya... well, she loved the Acropolis. The Citadel was a world of intrigue and discovery: a great sea cradled by rocks, intricate paintings and sculptures, micro-ecosystems in the rockpools, and so many fascinating lionesses! Both Haiku and her general could see that Quenya loved it here, and she was allowed to stay.

Due to her noble heritage, she lives in the Citadel. She loves it! She talks to everyone. She peers over Leuke's shoulder in the library and bombards them with questions about the Acropolis' history. She sits beside Neith at the entryway, trying to be as menacing (and as still, and silent) as them. She pads after Aleu shyly, entranced by the princess' elegance and grace. And sometimes, at the Centre Court, she runs into Queen Haiku, and they share a hearty conversation. Quenya is a little surprised, admittedly, at how friendly and charming Haiku is. This queen doesn't seem distant and aloof. She seems... nice. Kind. Graceful towards her subjects. Maybe a little flirtatious, even. Wait, really? Oh stars!

The lions in the Citadel love her to pieces. Haiku is beautiful, of course, and charming, but with Quenya's curiosity and energy, the Citadel feels young again.
