As you think " Does he ever blink?" to yourself , "Hori!" calls a lioness from the other end of the cave. He stops staring and imediately gets up going to the lioness who called him. His presence is disturbing. You want to get out of here as soon as possible.""

A flock of tiny birds are playing and pouncing all over Hori. He is just remaining where he is, humming softly and letting them go at it. Maybe he is not so bad after all.
