Nephele was a traveler, a wandering lioness belonging to no pride, although she was brought up in one at some point in her life. She doesn't remember much from that period of time, as her mother left the pride taking her little cub along. She died shortly there after, leaving her daughter to fend for her own. The cub managed to survive on her own, growing up without anyone to really care for her. Until, she stumbled upon the border of The Peaceful Spring, where she met Astrea for the first time. The King was kind to her, allowing her to stay at the border for a while. She would visit her daily, they'd talk and spend time together. A bond formed between the two and eventually Nephele asked Astrea if she could join her pride, which the King gladly accepted.

As a lioness, Nephele is calm and has quite a loving nature. She is a great listener to whom you can vent your frustrations. She doesn't talk much herself, and can seem cold and emotionless at times, but she feels deeply, and takes a lot of things to heart.

Roaring loudly, Nephele walks around practicing her fierce appearance, not really noticing you.

You nearly jump five feet in the air when a huge spider suddenly appears in your sleeping spot! Luckily, Nephele ran over immediately and threw it out for you. Holy crap.

Nephele sits next to you and watches the horizon for any incoming danger. Bees included.
