Asteria

Asteria was born to a small pride of lions that lived in a dense forest. Her mother* was a gentle and loving lioness who doted on her cubs, including Asteria. However, tragedy struck when Asteria was still a young cub. One day, while the pride was out hunting, they stumbled upon a group of poachers who had set up traps in the forest. In the chaos that ensued, Asteria's mother was caught in one of the traps and killed.

Asteria and her siblings were devastated by their mother's death. They were too young to fend for themselves and had no idea how to survive in the wild. The pride tried to care for them, but they were struggling to find enough food to feed themselves, let alone the cubs.

One night, while Asteria was sleeping, a group of hyenas attacked the pride. Many of the lions were injured or killed, and the surviving lions knew that they had to flee the area to find a new home.

As they were leaving, Asteria was accidentally left behind. She woke up to find herself alone in the forest, scared and vulnerable. She knew that she had to find a way to survive, but she didn't know where to turn.

Days turned into weeks, and Asteria struggled to survive on her own. She was constantly on the lookout for predators and struggled to find food and water. She was on the brink of starvation when she stumbled upon a pride of lions that had made their home in a nearby savanna.

The king of the pride, a powerful lion named Starman, noticed Asteria and took pity on her. He welcomed her into the pride and allowed her to stay with them. At first, Asteria was hesitant and scared, but she quickly realized that the pride was a safe haven for her.

Asteria proved to be a calm and intelligent cub, and she quickly earned the respect of the other lions. She became close friends with Starman's daughter, a playful and adventurous cub named Kali*, and the two of them spent many hours exploring the savanna together.

As she grew older, Asteria knew that she had found her true home in the pride. She was grateful to Starman for taking her in and for giving her the opportunity to live a full and happy life as a lion
