Ilhuicac \| Prime Consort Ilhuicac, prime consort of Tezcatlipoca and mother to his heir. Her entry to the pride was prophesied, unbeknownst to both herself and him. The old seer Yayatitlattaya kept her visions close to herself, especially towards the end of the Witch King's reign. She joined the pride towards the beginning of the Warrior King's era, encountering him in the desert wastelands far from his pride. She was quick to become smitten with him, the romantic that she is, and followed him through the June storms. The danger, she surmised, was high, but the reward was worth it nonetheless. It was clear from very early on that Tezcatlipoca favored her amongst his consorts. Something about the two was just innately compatible, from how Ilhuicac could calm his fires and advise him from the sidelines. Her somewhat older age permitted her to give him wisdom just a few years outside of his reach. In a sense, she became the order to his chaos. When she bore his destined children, her place in the pride was properly cemented. She ascended to the role of a queen of sorts, Tezcatlipoca's true consort. Though he still took to other lionesses, she would become his love. The mutual respect between the two flourished, and permitted them to work in tandem to rule their followers. But, all good things must come to an end. The king can see that his queen has slowed with age, the deep wrinkles on her face betraying a nearing farewell. He is loathe to part with her, even if he knows that he will join her in time. Ilhuicac is at peace with her encroaching demise. She did the best she could- she loved, she lived, she conquered. She only hopes that her children will find their place within the pride, even if it isn't in the forms Tezcatlipoca wanted for them. - You drop 150 silver beetles before the scrying stone..
