At 3 months old, to Adara, shortly after arriving in the pride: [Haru is trying to squish your toes. It tickles, and she thinks it's hilarious how much it makes you twitch.] Adara: "My baby now."
During pouncing practice at 5 months old: [Quiet as a mouse, Haru scared another cub who was resting. +6% training experience!]

Doesn't remember arriving in Adara's pride since she was so young at the time; kind of assumes that Adara is her sire since neither the queen nor Haru's mother, Kasumi, indicate otherwise.
It isn't until she reaches adulthood that she finally learns about her past, which really Throws Off Her GrooveΒ©. At almost three years old Haru, upon feeling ready to have her first litter, ventures outside the pride's territory to find someone willing to help her out. She decides that a good starting point would be the mountain range she can see in the distance, a couple of days' walk beyond the border of Adara's territory.
She reaches the foot of the nearest mountain with no problem and makes her way up the shallow incline, hoping to get a good vantage point where she can look for any watering holes that are likely to attract nomad males.
(Notes so I don't forget where I'm at whenever I come back to continue, lol: Haru finds a fresh grave on mountain > she meets Akari, who recognises her but hides it when they realise Haru's just passing through > they have a brief convo about Akari's mother - Haru's grandma, unbeknownst to her- who's occupying said grave. > Akari then mentions that the lead male of the territory beneath the mountain isn't a very hospitable guy, and Haru's best heading [gives location of big waterhole outside Lowell's territory]. Haru thanks them and heads off, happy as Larry. > A couple of weeks later, she arrives back in Adara's pride, now expecting her first litter. She tells her mum about her trip, mentioning that she met a cool Tigon up on a mountain [gestures vaguely towards it]. Alarm bells start ringing for Kasumi, BC obvs she Doesn't Wanna Revisit All That Nonsense, and she subtly presses for more details. > At first she's relieved when it sounds like Haru didn't know Akari, and her littermate hadn't let slip their relationship either. But then when it sinks in that the fresh grave on the mountain belongs to Paloma, her and Akari's mother, she is. Upset. She kinda clams up suddenly and leaves, and Haru's just left there like "???" > Idk exactly how she finds out The Deetsβ’ yet, but she does soon enough and possibly Drama Ensues? Or maybe Haru's p chill about it and helps Kasumi reconnect w her littermate and possibly meet her younger half-siblings [who are also Haru's half-siblings BC Lowell's their dad too, lol].)
