Artali stepped through the portal from the Veil Nebula and passed through, finding herself with her paws on firm ground, soft grass. The sky was bright overhead, shining with the light from the sun; a clear, cloudless day. Artali shook herself, scattering some space dust from her Interstellar pelt, and breathed in deeply, relishing the scent of the world around her. This was not her first visit to these lands of Africa, and she had come to love them. In fact, for many months now, these lands had been her home.

She had befriended several prides here, and in fact, her father had been born in these lands. Her mother, on the other paw, had come from the Celestial realms, and had met Artali's father during a visit to the Earth. The two had quickly become close, and the rest was history. After her birth, Artali had lived in the Celestial realms with her mother for quite some time, with occasional visits to her father's lands.

Since becoming an adult, Artali had taken to traveling the lands of her father's birth as well as the Celestial realms in which her mother had lived, and although she loved the Celestial realms, she was glad she had settled down in the beautiful lands of this planet.

She had lived for a time with the pride of Amani, a beautiful Serruria Piebald who had taken her into the pride and cared for her while she became accustomed once more to the Earth. Amani had then told her of another pride, one that would be pleased to welcome her into their fold; the pride of the kind King ᛟᛞᛁᚾ, or Odin, the Rune Guardian. Artali had agreed, and had traveled to ᛟᛞᛁᚾ's pride. Now, that territory was her home; the lions within that pride her friends, her family.

Now, Artali finished her visit to her mother's homelands, and padded lightly back into her home territory. Today, she believed, would be another good day.
