Eaglepaw joined the clan after the drought that plagued Nightclan's territory. His mother was the leader of a far away clan that disbanded. After her clan's remnants dispersed she became a queen within another pride, but some of the other queens didn't welcome the newcomer. Eaglepaw threatened their own cubs prospects of becoming heir to the pride. Once he was old enough, Eaglepaw decided to leave the pride, uninterested in the power struggle. When he found his way to Nightclan's territory, Eaglepaw had only planned to stay in the territory for a moon or two, but he found a fast friend in Dreampaw. He quickly came to love the lioness for her kind heart and dedication to her clan. Thankfully, Salmonstar was willing to allow him to stay, and Silver started training him as a warrior of Nightclan.
