Weren't Mothers supposed to love their kids unconditionally? Her Mother was banished, and she felt as if it was her fault so she packed up and left. Following footprints, she found a cave where her mothers body lay limp. Her body was covered in wounds and blood stained her golden fur. She cried. Raya moved towards her mother, as a unfamiliar lion appeared. He spoke to her, and said he could bring her mother back as long as she took his curse. She nodded, not asking any more questions as long as her mother was brought back. As she said yes, she felt a burning in her skin as her skin tore. Wings sprouted and armor formed. A scroll placed in her mouth as her body floated. She watched as the lions body burned, and her mothers eyes stayed closed. She waited. Only to realize he had lied. She skipped eating and laid on her mothers body before she left and finally surrendered her mothers body. She wanted to find more about her new curse, but she first needed to get a home. They wouldn't take her back now. She walked for many moons before finding a lion like her. She invited her and they went to BW's pride and she was welcomed, happily. ---- Raya was watching you intently as you told her your plans for watching the border tomorrow. She seems unconvinced you can pull it off, however. Sigh. You offered a snack to 𝚁𝚊𝚢𝚊, and she took it after sniffing it for a while. Then you see her giving a chunk of it to a different pride mate later before eating the rest herself. Oooh, so that's how it is?
