She quickly ran through the forest, quiet as the night itself, like a shadow.
𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘺, she thought to herself as she started to run faster. Her paws seemed to be floating above the ground, not making a single sound in the silence of the night.
She stopped when se arrived at a clearing, suddenly standing under a sky full of stars. She looked around her, shadows of devils lurking behind the trees.
Then she saw a bright light shining from under a root. She ran towards it swiftly, picked it up and her eyes reflected the light of the fallen star as her breath echoed through the forest. The shadows retreated between the trees as she closed her eyes and a blue glow surrounded the lioness. “Don’t worry, you’re safe here,” she muttered, wrapped it in her wings and walked away into the darkness.

Kurai Yoru (for short Yoru) is a mysterious lioness. She often sneaks out of the den at night without telling anyone. You’re lucky if you see her, because she is so quiet that you can’t hear her.
Story goes that a cub once followed her into the woods. He came back home, but the next day, he was found dead, with a rotting pelt and a dark mud pouring out of his mouth and nose.
Yoru since that moment has never spoken to any cub again, seemed to be carrying some sort of guilt. Since that day, she tries to protect the cubs as good as possible and always makes sure to keep them in camp until they are old enough for their first hunt. Other than that, she is kind of a loner and does not socialize with other lionesses a lot.
