💫 The Aurora 💫

Before the King of Stars met Queen Astroa, he'd been trying to live the usual life of a mortal male lion. And knowing how their lives are, of course, he quickly had a litter of cubs with a curious lioness, Flare. But things... didn't exactly turn out so well.

Perhaps it was the galactic power in his blood that caused it all, but one of their cubs had been born...strange. It was The Aurora, who had a sinister personality. He never had any care for any other lions, not even his own mother. He was destructive, he'd kill any animal he could catch, and as he grew older he became a danger to his own family.

With a heavy heart, The King of Stars himself banished his own son to live on the edge of the land. The Aurora opposed him, yet there was truly nothing he could do against his father's power. The Comet, the Aurora's brother, had always known her brother would one day go too far, but she couldn't help but miss him.

His mother Flare seemed conflicted on who she should side with, and eventually decided to follow her son to live with him. The King of Stars let Flare go, respecting her decision to leave. After all, her two cubs were almost fully grown at that point.

The Aurora would remain banished, living alone out in the wild, far from his father. The only lion who ever dared to even go close to him was his mother, and even to her, he'd often lash out. He wanted over everything to take revange on his father for abandoning him like that, but he only had half as much power as the ruler of the stars himself. The Aurora lived in misery and anger, and the normal mortal lions feared him greatly, as he had killed any who stood in his way.
