Acis

Acis and his twin sister Amelie were brought into the pride by their mother Raine. Beira, their Queen, encouraged Raine to meet a King of a neighboring pride. She swore that Raine would take a liking to him, and she was right. Raine loves her pride too much to leave but is glad she has a piece of that King to stay with her here.
Acis and Amelie are often found curled behind the waterfall, loafing around together.

1st Meeting:
Acis was one of the first to awaken to Beira coming back. It wasn't uncommon for Beira to leave at random times and return with new pride mates. However, this was the first time that one of those new pride mates happened to be a male. Male cubs in Beira's pride rarely ever stay, they're often given to neighboring Kings or just disappear. Acis himself is the only male cub to have grown up and continued to remain in the pride. So, what is different about this one?
Acis carefully shakes Amelie off of him, before padding over to the pair cautiously. "Beira...Forgive me, but who is this?"
Beira walks past Acis, essentially ignoring him. This isn't uncommon, Beira often ignores Acis and only offers spare glances while he trains or talks with the lionesses.
He turns to the stranger, cocking his head to the side curiously. The fellow lion copies, then out of nowhere swipes his paw at Acis' face; a claw catching his cheek in the process. Acis growls and goes to swipe back.
"Enough, before the others wake." Beira's voice echoes in the cave, louder than the two even were.
The two males bow their heads, but glare into one another's eyes. Acis huffs, and returns to his sister's side, leaving the stranger awkwardly alone in the sea of lions.
