“Starry’sky greets you warmly with a soft rumbling noise like a purr. You feel all warm and fuzzy inside.”

Starry’sky, adopted daughter of noble Nova’star and of royal Tigon Final’hope, was deeply loved by her step-father regardless of where she truly came from. With his kindness engrained into her from a young age, she too grew up into a true friend to all who had the fortune of coming across her. But, love cannot change nor fix misfortune.

Tragedy struck as she fell in love with an outsider and experienced motherhood for the first time. Excitement and fear came over her as her first heat came and passed while her parents supported her journey. Alas, fate had other plans in store for Starry’sky as her first and sole surviving cub, Star’dancer, was born with fused hind legs and could not walk around normally.

Starry’sky put on a brave face and loved her cub regardless of the circumstances. Final’hope and Nova’star solemnly took over when she needed a break to let her pain out alone. She watched her tragic cub crawl over happily to Nova’star for a cuddle, and that’s when she was finally able to rest after staying awake for days trying to keep Star’dancer alive. Exhausted mentally and physically, Starry’sky gazed at her baby one last time before falling asleep. This was the last time she saw her baby alive.

Every night since her only cub's passing, Starry'sky watches the stars at night dance, convinced that her baby is prancing around up there, putting on a show just for her. She is forlorn, but not alone, and that is enough until she will finally be able to reunite with her baby.
