Triteleia

Triteleia is born to Helleborine, the daughter of the Healer Rosalee and Protector Monroe, not long before the murder of the trio takes place. She grows up almost overshadowed by their deaths, especially since Monroe and Rosalee had left behind a young orphan, the tiny Delphinia. But, Triteleia is never too bothered about this. Yes, she had lost her grandparents, and of course it was tragic, but she remembers that Helleborine and her sisters had lost their -parents-, far sooner than anyone had anticipated. The three sisters are extremely close as a result of this, and Triteleia has an odd relationship with her youngest aunt, Delphinia. Due to the untimely deaths of the trio, Helleborine and Alchemilla almost raised Delphinia, and due to this, Triteleia sometimes thinks of her as more of a sister than her aunt, especially since she’s both younger and has such a small stature. She even becomes rather quite protective of the younger lioness, especially as her prophetic skills start to appear and it is noticed that the younger lioness will become catatonic when in a vision-state.

As the purple-hued lioness grows, she becomes intrigued in the work her grandmother had left behind. Not only that, but she’s interested in the stars, in the spirits residing far above them. She is also a very social lioness, and is often found comforting or talking with pride members. One night, Triteleia is wandering through the territory and she comes across an odd canine. It seems to follow her, and has a similar piercing gaze that young Delphinia has. Triteleia comes to the conclusion that, since Delphinia can seemingly see the future, this canid is something mystical as well, and she allows it to follow her back to the pride.

There are some objections, as expected, but eventually the pride allows Triteleia to keep the canid close as a companion, a familiar. It is often seen bringing the purple-furred lioness herbs, and seems to fit in well with the pride. Triteleia wonders though, once Delphinia is old enough, what happens if the Oracle wishes to be the only healer?

She needn’t have worried though, because Delphinia, who had started to spend more time with her, comes to the older lioness with a proposition. The Oracle acknowledges that Triteleia is better socially, and cares more about herbalism than she does. Similarly, Triteleia recognizes that, although she is intrigued by the spirits, Delphinia can actually speak with those residing amongst the stars. The two come to a conclusion that they will be a formidable team, if they combine their forces. Delphinia as the Oracle, and Triteleia as the Healer, and also as a sort of protector for the youngest lioness if needed. The two begin to share Rosalee’s den, with the Healer storing herbs within and conducting her duties there, and the Oracle utilizing it as a protected space if she needs it.
