Biography
Reason for name change: this lioness’s previous name had multiple meanings, one of which was very inappropriate. I was unaware of this meaning, and will be vetting all future names MUCH more carefully 😓 Anyway, she’s getting renamed. Sorry everybody, for any offense I caused.

New name: Kitenzi, meaning ‘verb’ or ‘to be’. Her mother just liked the name, and she was an energetic cub, so it seemed to fit.

Kitenzi, the youngest cub in Baridi’s second litter, a bit of a girly-girl, she sticks to her mother like glue, and her fur is always spotless.

Her litter-mates are Kimba and Kuruguru, and her older sister (on her mother’s side) is Kona. As an adult, she looks more like Kona than any of her other siblings, ironic, since the two are polar opposites in personality.

Kitenzi, the ever-feminine, also grows a partial mane as an adult. She’s insecure for a bit, but in the end she embraces her own beauty, just as she is: perfect, and very fluffy.

Her first litter is a fairly big one, two boys and a girl. Her boys grow up preparing to go rogue, as most young males do, but both end up joining prides! Kitenzi is very proud of them, and relived. Rogue life is difficult. In fact, she’s a little shocked when her daughter wants to leave with her cousins Bitka and Dhana. But, the girls want to find mates and make a home for themselves, and that’s near impossible in a pride where you’re related to everyone, so she reluctantly gives her blessing. Mfupa would have gone anyway, of course, but it’s easier if her mother approves and encourages her.

First litter:
1. Mfupa ~ 794209939187 female, chased at age 2
2. Okidi ~ 794209939188 male, traded/adopted
3. Kifuli ~ 794209939189 male, traded/adopted

Second litter:
1. Feri ~ 794211288779 female, chased at age 2

Third litter:
1. Helia ~ female, kept.
2. Atemi ~ female, kept.

~You laughingly greet Kitenzi and start gently pretending to eat them. They shriek and laugh and tell you your teeth tickle.

~Kitenzi thinks today is a GREAT day and snugs your neck for good luck. 2x

~When you approach Kitenzi sleeping on the ground, she slowly wakes up, turning on her back and wiggling around. She tries to touch your muzzle with her paws. 2x

~Kitenzi sees you, gasps and runs towards you, greeting you with lots of compliments and nose licks.

~You greet Kitenzi and she starts swaying around you with a humming song full of purrs and snuggles.
