The cubs, along with Mage, were playing and making noise near the sleeping spot of Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 and ended up disturbing his nap time. He roared at them to get lost, then went back to his nap, grumbling about how he behaved much better than they did when he was their age. They should take a lesson from him

Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 spotted his grandcub sitting on the top branch of a tree, taunting their younger siblings that they'll never be able to get as high as them. He sneaked behind the tree and roared, scaring both the young cubs and Mage, who fell off the tree in result. Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 smirked at the cubs, and told them they will never be good at anything if they don't learn to be fearless like him.

Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 was tolerating Mage climbing all over him, until they pushed a tiny piece of his mane out of place. As Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 yells about "insubordination", Mage zips past you as fast as they can, eager to escape their Grandpaw's wrath

Mage is eagerly talking to Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼, asking him for advice on how to be respected by others. Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 proudly tells them how he made everyone respect him by regaling the cub with some exaggerated "amazing adventure" from when he was younger. Yeah, right, old man! You were there when that all happened, and it's not even close to how it really went down. Not wanting to break the cub's enamoured concentration, though, you simply turn and trot off, leaving Grandpaw 𝐼𝒸𝒶𝓇𝓊𝓈 𝐼𝐼 to puff up his ego with false tales.

Every time you get comfortable for a nap, Mage keeps trying to eat your feet. Maybe you ought to swat the little bugger. Just a little. They'd get a kick out of it anyways…

While all the other members of your pride seemed to avoid the river near your lands, Mage enjoyed swimming playfully for hours each day, always returning with sopping wet fur. You had to admit, it was pretty impressive to watch her dive under the water, and you could always admire a nice pair of strong muscles at work.

Mage noticed your mane was looking a bit dirty and tangled, so she offered to groom it for you. You quickly declined, saying you'll take care of it later on your own. You still had a bald spot from the last time Mage cleaned you with their barbed tongue.

You find Mage splayed out near some water, panting heavily and looking generally miserable. she started to complain about how hot it was today, and how she wanted to go play in the snuh. You give her a weird look - it feels great today, and snuh is way too cold to do anything in!
