Cassiopeia was a little miracle. The last daughter of old Queen Astara and Oisin. The elderly male had already passed away when Astara gave birth to one single cub surprising the entire pride. She was hidden away in a secret den and nursed by Stardust one of Astaras younger daughters until the line of succession was clear. The circle of the wise had long considered to let the remaining sons fight for the right to rule but instead a strange white rogue approached Astara. He was the son of Queen Ira and king Prana and he had been secretly visiting Nila, queen Astaras Granddaughter. The old queen told him that he could have her granddaughter as a mate and earn his right as successor of her kingdom - if he won in battle tree times against her sons. With her old age Astara gave her care and raising of Cassi to Stardust and instead took on the role of grandmaw and nanny in her life. Cassiopeia wants to race grandmaw Ᾰstara, and dashes away for a head start. Grandmaw Ᾰstara pretends to try hard to catch Cassiopeia, but lets them win by a nose.
