Biography
~Introduction dialogue~

In a deep, dark cave, hidden from the rest of the pride, lies one of the Chief Huntresses. Adorned in turquoise and yellow gold, her piercing eyes make out any approaching shape before they enter her private zone. When she's not on the hunt, she's leading the charge into battle with rival predators or leading expeditions that wipe out poachers, at the very least to catch them before they get too close to the territory. This was the role that Kimbia came to fulfill; in return for being allowed to live in this territory, she would do her upmost to defend it, disregarding the duties of the submales.

She came into the family easily. The storm-colored sabretooth was grateful for her loyalty and thought she was lovely enough to look at. Her stubborn pride also refused all other males; neither leopard nor rival lion would claim her. She had the same value placed on her as a daughter of a raffle lioness. In order to keep it, Kimbia worked tirelessly for the respect and love that she earned. On any given day, she could be brutal, ruthless and cold, but on others, she would've made a fitting queen if lacking one.

When you came to see her, she surprised you as she emerged from the darkness, her Incense coat giving her perfect camouflage in that dim light. In typical feline fashion, she cautiously flicked her ears back and her tail twitched. Then she leaned forward to inhale your scent, grunting to herself. "You're okay," she decided. "Sorry. I'm not available for cubs. That honor goes to my ruler alone."

She then offers to lead you to the nursery if you wanted to see about any daughters of hers. With a coat like that, it's easy to see why one would hope for a cub or two that looked as good as she did in blue and gold...

~~

The second lioness customized by the king, "Kimbia" is the Swahili word for literally "run away", earned by her unique coloration and the rumors that she was running from a shady past. She personally offered this name when met, so it's was also believed she had been exiled from a pride that didn't appreciate her. Due to a lack of lionesses at the beginning of her time in the pride, she was granted the position of Chief Huntress when the family greatly needed another to take over those duties.

Her coat color made her stand out for miles, which made hiding and hunting difficult, ironic because of the position she would earn shortly after joining her new family. The truth of her success was that while she never failed to bring home food, sometimes she stashed smaller prey in other locations, thereby always keeping something for herself and anyone she called an ally. This would cause her to get into heated arguments with Lunga about the importance of sharing and selfishness. Kimbia defended her position and called Lunga out as a hypocrite, unmasking her schemes of sometimes taking living prey not to be eaten, but to be sacrificed alive at the Gate to Hell, something unheard of in the territory.
