Sunfyer

"Asikagon."

you answer harshly and quickly, out of habit, with a "what". You were just strolling through the forest, who is whispering to you here?

"..." silence. accept-

"hello mate! just a traveling pirate here!" There's a very loud clatter over to your left. When you look over, you see Sunfyre, the pirate.

"Asikagon!"

you hear again...

"I'm sorry, in didn't mean to scare you, are you okay?" this confuses you a bit because Sunfyre didn't scare you, its this weird ass whispering in the woods! the only thing you see when you look around is the red lion, the path, and the trees. you take a second to look at the lion.

you notice his skin seems to be... green? but his fur is red. that makes no sense! what is this, Christmas? with a closer inspection, it seems to be mossy even, not just green. and the lion moves to set up his shop on the side of the road, you watch as he steps. it seems wherever he steps, the field grass sprouts up a little.

what a weird guy.


"want to take a look at what I have here? I call it the red pirate shop, welcome!"

You ask the funny lion in a hat if he really is a pirate, like Mr. Gibbs from the ship that helps with your treasure hunting. He nods his head yes.

"I treasure hunt! I even have a boat. My pride lives just past the lava bog, and I know just how to sail it with some tar, dirt, and metal scrap!"

This seems unlikely to you, this is all so weird. YOU were just going that way. to do that, this guy would have to be like... magical, but that's not possible, is it?

"Asikagon!!"

You whip around, yelling out a growl. "Whoa whoa whoa! are you okay?" he asks. You growl at him, asking who Asikagon is. He looks down, silent, before shaking his head.

"someone who's gone."

You decide not to free further, maybe this guy could give you directions to the lava bog, and maybe even how to get past it.

"you might be able to find my pride past the bog if you follow this route..." he tells you how to pass the bog and get there, so long you follow the path he gave. it won't be easy, but surly it will make this journy easier.
