Serenity

Serenity is Fireflicker’s first cub in her third litter, her fifth child overall. She inherited her mother’s fiery coat, and her twin sister Kereti take after her mother in personality.

As an adult, Serenity goes to visit her older sister Mkali in the Kalahari Pride, and ends up rather smitten with the young Kalahari King, Matūmaini. She stays in the pride to have her first litter, and who knows? She likes it here, she might stay a while.

Matumaini rather likes her too, and asks her to stay and be his mate. Serenity has no desire to be Queen, and tells him as much, but happily accepts the title of Duchess.

~You were pacing back and forth, frustrated at losing to a puny hyena earlier. Suddenly Serenity comes up to you, and softly tells you that no one is thinking badly of you for it. She soothingly kneads your mane. 4x

~Serenity gives a soft purring sound as a greeting, and moves over a little so you can lay down beside her.

~You find Serenity on an outcropping observing some other lions playing below with a gentle smile.
