Kunzite x Dawn = Gleam
ƊƦƛƓƠƝƑԼƳ is the shaman of her pride. Her primary role is as healer and she takes this job very seriously, however once in a while she finds herself staring into space as visions from the ancestors dance in her weary mind. Her pride mates appreciate her abilities as healer but her other abilities leave them concerned and have some questioning if she’s “all there”. Her physical appearance as well often gets her curious glances. When 𝕊𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕠𝕤𝕒𝕦𝕣𝕦𝕤 first discovered her as an adolescent, the king wasn’t sure what to make of what he believed to be a young male trespassing on his prides territory. Her stringy mane and additional fur on her tail and underbelly, especially now as an adult, often gets her mistaken as a sickly male upon first glance.
Story time:
Dragonfly scraped at the ground, her mind wondering as her claws slid through the dirt. It was the evening, the air was warm and the sky blossomed with the extraordinary hues of twilight. The absent minded lioness should have been preparing for a good nights rest along side the rest of her pride. There was however one problem, she was nowhere near her pride, she was lost. Dragonfly shook her head, scratching the ground one final time before rising to her feet. Taking in her surroundings Dragonfly opened her mouth and drew in a deep breath to better scent the area. The tang of other lions laid heavy on her tongue as she realized the true extent of her predicament, she was in the territory of strangers. A shiver ran along her spine as her mind raced, “How did this happen? I was taking a walk and now…” her thoughts were cut short by the rustling of foliage and the keen feeling that she was no longer alone.
A loud roar cut through the quiet of the evening as Dragonfly found herself being rushed by a blur of purple fur. *Wham* the blur smashed into her side, knocking her off her paws and into the dirt. Her attacker was fully on top of her now and Dragonfly could feel their claws ripping at her belly. “What do I do!??!” She screamed in her mind, panic blinded her, blood rushed in her ears, searing pain made her gasp. Suddenly, she felt her opponents weight shift as they leaned forward. Clearly preparing to land a final blow she needed to act now. Dragonfly pushed her front paws up firmly against the chest of her assaulter, forcing them back slightly and putting them off balance before kicking out as hard as she could with her hind legs. By some miracle her assailant was sent flying, landing with a painful sounding thud a few feet away. Dragonfly scrambled to her feet trying hard to focus her senses and take a defensive stand, ready for the next attack.
