With the help of her dark coat, Blake's ambush would've almost been successful if Yang didn't beat her first. Before Blake's eyes, Yang tackled down a buffalo with a swift move, slamming down its body on the floor. Yet the buffalo moved its head to the side, hitting Yang's leg causing her to stumble. Seeing its chance, the buffalo got up and charged at Yang. Right before the buffalo hit yang, Blake jumped out from her hiding spot up on a tree and landed on its back, immediately sinking her teeth deep into the prey's neck. She instantly hit a nerve, causing it to fall right in front of Yang. Blake bit the same spot again, confirming the kill and looked up at Yang- their eyes locked for what seemed a lifetime before Yang grinned, "I could've taken him." Since that day, they've became quick friend, then soon (after a longggg long slowburn) the two became lovers.
