Kutembea was a queen in her own right, her previous pride in the days was strong and flourishing, but the passing of the old king to a nomad younger male threw the pride into chaos. Shujaa was another large male looking to expand his own pride and taking over a fractured family, finding himself absolutely smitten with Kutembea he rose a challenge, fighting the new kings for her- A fight that was short lived with Shujaa's experience and strength, bringing Kutembea home with him as his new queen. Kutembea was his first wife, finding herself adoring her brutish husband and taking to living among the shamans, blessed by her new family with the touch of divinity, keeping her youthful alongside her husband and sister wife Nakinya.
