Roxanne - Roxy
on one fine september morning, there was a mother and her beautiful (newly born to mention) lion cub. this mother however wasn’t caring for her children as one lion should, because the leader of her pride was going to gamble them all off for food. and that’s exactly what happened that next moon in october. come then, the cub was seperated from all her siblings and went to a new home, with lots of obnoxiously loud cubs and adolescents. however, that main male soon realized that the cub had too much personality for a young cub. he took her and asked his friend, Kuniper, if he would watch her for a while. with a face as cute as the cub’s he said of course. the other male walked away with a grin on his face, knowing he would never come back. many days and nights passed with the cub until finally Kuniper understood that she wasn’t leaving. he gave her the name Roxanne after her bright personality. Roxanne was the light of everyones world, although she hated outsiders from her clan. she loved Kuniper, as that was her chosen mother. she was taught many tricks and how to hunt. however, Roxanne had a problem. she was loud and obnoxious just how her former pride was. as much as Kuniper tried to work with her, she just couldn’t stay quiet. with a heavy heart, Kuniper decided the best take of action would be to give her to a pride that liked the noise. and so that’s what he did. it was hard for them both to say goodbye, Kuniper wept day and night, not eating or leaving his den. “Why is this be so hard? She’s just a cub, not even one full circle around the sun old!” but time with someone will wear on some lions. two excruciating weeks went by when finally, Kuniper couldnt stand it any longer. he went to the pride where Roxy was at and sobbed “please, what can i do to get my girl back” and the other king replied “i can tell you love her, you may take her back for nothing.” Kuniper was estatic, and cried even more while thanking the lion. he took Roxanne home, while the chipper cub was roaring loudly the entire way. but Kuniper didn’t care, he wanted the whole world to hear his baby. because all that mattered was that she was with him.
