Having been outcast from her original pride with her sister, Buma was heartbroken when she lost that very same sister during a hunt. She didnt know if she was dead or alive, all she knew is that she wasnt anywhere around...
After some time of waiting she was forced to keep moving and feed herself to survive. One day she met Alakay, who saw the hungry lioness hunt a warthog very impressively considering her thin and weak looking body. He invited her to join his pride and she agreed, having nothing to lose.
Even was a pride member, however, she kept her distance, especially from Alakay. While other lionesses around were getting pregnant, she stayed cub-less, confusing the rest of the pride. Thankfully her hunting was great, otherwise she might of been cast out, atleast the lionesses thought that among themselves...
After a while she started warming up to the pride, even their male. While she wasn't exactly ready to mate with him yet, she was being more social.
One day Alakay came back with a new lioness, to Buma's surprise... it was Talisha, Buma's lost sister!
The two were happy to be reunited, however, Buma's social skills seemed to have took a step back once again, preferring the company of her sister, who is very antisocial...
Despite keeping to her sister, Buma was showing interest in their alpha lion. One night when the lionesses left to hunt, including Talisha, Buma stayed behind with Alakay...
She shortly after became pregnant, now expecting cubs...
She gave birth to 2 female cubs, one of which died shortly after birth. Now she just has her daughter; Dannie.
Talisha surprised her by annoucing she was also pregnant with Alakay's cubs, making the two sisters grow even closer as they awaited their cubs.
Talisha died after complications, leaving behind a heartbroken sister, mourning pride and an infant son; Damien.
She raised Damien along with her daughter Daanie, the two lions having grown close over time, like true, full-fledged siblings.
As years went she developed a disinterest in having more cubs, preferring to hunt and babysit for her pride sisters.
She was especially close with her granddaughters; Spots and Dots, and was devastated when she lost Dots to a scavenger when she was babysitting the twins.
She now keeps her distance but loves her great-grandcubs; Phoenix and Celestia, having high hopes that either one or their cubs will take over the pride once her mate is ready to pass the throne. She seems to have noticed how much attention Alakay gives to the teenage Celestia, making her presentable to other males and preps her for one day maybe having her line take over. While she would protest, Celestia insists that she enjoys the attention and wants to make their family proud by producing the next heir.
The recent deaths of Grey and Aira made Buma worry about her own mortality... She would constantly be seen in a slight panic, trying her best to prepare herself for her own death, wanting to do all things she could before then...
Days past and Buma's panics only got worst. In the early hours of the morning she left the den where the pride slept and went out into the Savannah. She wandered for a while before spotting a lone, thirsty zebra who seemed to have lost his herd. Buma thought "One last time..." before the old lionesses stalked the zebra.
She gave got close, however, the zebra noticed her, dodging her attack and fleeing, forcing the old lioness to give chase out of instinct. For a short while she amazingly kept up, until her breathing started to become more rapid. She was starting to feel dizzy, and soon she didnt even feel her paws, it was as though she was gliding... her vision blurred as she made the leap for the prey, miscalculating and missing. Buma just laid on the dusty ground, panting and coughing, unable to get back up as her old heart raced. She smiles before letting out a content sigh... and she was gone...
