The youngest daughter of Evelyn, and half sister of Lost in the Dark. Caedmon was particularly close with his youngest sister, and so was Edana. They adored her, as did their mother. It was hard for Nansaidh when her older brother and mother died, but with Edana and Lilas, she made it through.

Chosen to be head of hunting by her niece, Princess Vanessa, and Prince Devlin, heirs the Lake throne, Nansaidh was honored to take it. However, she needed hunting experience, which she couldn't get with Queen Keelie and Lady Eileen only taking their own daughters hunting, so she sought the help from the best huntresses she knew, the Dark Marsh girls. Her sister, Queen Caoimhe and half sister Lost in the Dark welcomed her into their hunting party. Nansaidh enjoyed months of hunting with her sisters, Sive and Caoimhe, half sister Dark, and their pridesister Sun.


Nansaidh was probably most shocked to learn that Vanessa had killed Aodhfin's brother and Lord Reamonn. Reamonn, even though he was younger than her, was her best friend. She could barely take it, but Bevin, sweet Bevin, helped her aunt come to terms with this new lose. Nansaidh was able to spend her last years hunting and taking care of her daughter Maisie.
