Oscuro was well-cared for as a cub, and even in a new home in Heartgold's pride, everyone treated him kindly. But that was a time when he could afford to be soft. Now, as King of a Pride,he would not allow anything in his territory to remain unscathed. There was a severe fine for trespassing, and Oscuro would make sure they pay. Many of his opponents fell easily to his fangs and claws. But those who gave a good fight before perishing, he respected. Like one lioness- she wasn't very pretty, but she was strong. He nearly lost to her, but in the end he won. As he stood above the dying lioness, he wished her a safe journey to the stars.
