Ja'far took over the reign of the kingdom as his adopted sire Jabari Nyo did before him. Taking the throne at the tender age of three, the lionesses spoke their concerns, and from the High Queen Issa, he received a nasty scar. His response was to crack the skulls of the nearby Military camps newly acquired lionesses. Only one lioness survived, many cubs died perhaps several lived, no one knows. What is known is that he only struck when angered. After consuming a strange rock Ja'far transformed into a hulking brute of a lion. His fangs were enormous and the lionesses feared his larger form, Though they found on this transformation he gentled out a bit almost as if he felt this body was right. He still made sure to keep their leashes tight, but at least they were all well fed and no cubs had suffered.
