Gifted by the Sepia pelt running down the royal lineage, the cub was allowed to stay despite being a male and grew up in the scorching heat of the Saharan desert alongside his sisters and the rest of the pride. If is help as a patroller was appreciated when he was younger, his growing strength and lust for dominance quickly caught Hikari's attention: the queen was worried that the young male would try to take her place as leader. He eventually got banned at the age of two by Hikari and roamed through the desert alone for months before reaching a more suitable land to live in the Wetlands of Africa.

He is sometimes seen wandering back to the desert, patrolling at the borders of his mother's territory, silently watching over his old pride.
