Aztec Knight Bjorn Sigurd

You (Sigurd the First) wander around the outskirts of your land as you hear a small cry from somewhere unseen. Your eyes search for the created making the sound only to stumble upon a poached lioness. A deep sigh pushes its way through as you mourn the lioness’ death. Suddenly the cry gets sharper and louder. Unsure of where it comes from you search around the lioness. Suddenly, a small paw reveals itself from under her corpse. Her cub must’ve been trying to wake her by calling for her. You sit next to the cub waiting for its curiosity to get the best of it. After what seemed like forever, it peaks its head out and looks up at you then at its mother. You talk with the cub about how his mother became one of the great lions up in the sky. You told him how they needed her up there to keep the peace. He leans into you as he looks deeply at her corpse. A few minutes pass before he cuddles into you and drifts off to sleep. Knowing he’ll die if left by himself you pick him up and bring him back to your pride.
