Cesare, the Impeccable

After Bonekeeper's passing, it fell to young Cesare to lead the pride as the elder had for all those moons- however, he took over at a strenuous time for his beloved pride, as the food was beginning to run scarce. During his young years, he found himself allowing more and more food to go to his pride rather than himself, and even the Food Pit wasn't nearby enough to satiate them more than once a month if even that. Due to this, his frame in his older years grew to reflect this, causing him to appear gaunt.

Despite this, when food again flourished and the lovely season of amour arrived, Cesare had a beautiful, full coat of luxurious fur to attract the more. . . Extroverted females. With his stature and physique, coupled with the whiteness of his fur, he ended up becoming a friend to quite a few males, as well; though not always in a positive way, as the painfully-obvious scar that adorns his neck and chest are testament to. As the season drew to a close and the lionesses began to drift back home to their prides so, too did Cesare's beloved Cornelia, who remains faithfully by his side always.

Only when she returned home did the poachers come, intruding upon young Cesare's territory with cruel and wild abandon, finding the pride well-fed but angry. Such intrusion and disruption of the local wildlife was unforgivable, especially when Cesare couldn't turn away the new young orphans with a good heart. Out he went to find and stomp the threat, finding himself in quite a few snares along the way. He bares the new scars on his legs with pride, knowing that only with them is his pride safe.
