The sun touched the earth, listening to the moon child's cries about the blight on her pride, the queen wailed to her mother, how within her weakened body she could do nothing to stop the manipulative Lord Giza, The Queen sobbed about his ways, how he was a stain on the pride she was given to. The Moon listened to her daughters wails and turned to the Sun, The Sun listened to The Moons pleas and reached out to The Lord fallen from grace. With promises of power Lord Giza walked to the sun, and from his touch the Sun tore the immortality from him, ageing him by years at once and tossing him back to the mortal grounds. "You may rejoin the stars again Lord Giza" The Sun flared "Once you have lived the rest of your life mortal, at the mercy of the pride you have wronged." Outraged Lord Giza screeched to the sun, cursing the damned thing for demoting him to something as disgusting as a mortal! For who could take his place? He kept the pride fed and safe, and a fallen star was enough to rip him from his glory? The Sun only laughed, crafting a primordial lion from its own veins, a lion that would lead the pride with humble kindness and follow the direction of The Queen. His veins would flow with the gold of the African sun and his underpelt glimmering blue as if gifted by Horus himself. The Sun named him Ichor, though not as powerful Ichor had time to grow. The pride is now in his carefully crafted paws.
