In the heart of Lake Xochimilco; Lotl resided taking care of her young ones - the Axolotls.
Due to the Lake being slowly destroyed by humans, by construction and introducing non-native species, Lotl took it upon herself to create waterways into secluded parts of the world - allowing these small creatures to travel the world spreading their love and to survive. And they've found their way into the African savannah where Lotl herself now resides, hoping someday she and her babies will return to their land that they once called home.

04.29.21 - Lotl was relaxing in her rockpool whilst her gilldren swam happily around her, some were relaxing on her arms and one found joy in swimming around her tail.
05.02.21 - You saw Lotl laying down in her pool to moisturize her gills, enjoying the feeling the gentle current through her filaments, it was pretty cute seeing her flap those large head-ferns after she stood back up.
05.10.21 - Lotl noticed you playing with her babies gently, she smiled at your kindness
05.17.21 - Lotl sat near a rock carving some words into it with her silver claws whilst smiling to herself... You can't quite make out what she's writing .... Are these names?
05.18.21 - Lotl was sat next to one of her gilldren that had a fungal infection in her gills, Using a pawful of Indian Almond Leaves she brewed a cold tea to give the baby a bath whilst using a rolled up piece of cotton on a stick to gently brush away the fungus. After the bath she transferred the baby to her own secluded rock pool to keep an eye on her.
05.21.21 - Looking over the baby who had the fungal infection Lotl was happy to see that the baby had fully recovered and was doing so much better! She put the baby back with the rest of her gilldren, flapping her own gills in delight at the happy reunion.
