Joined the Pantry Pride at 6 months of age
Once he was known as an heir and began to get more credit in the pride, he pushed the current king, Xylophone, to open an adoption center instead of murdering cubs. The king hesitantly agreed, but still does murder when the lions become too old.
Much like the King, He is super protective and loving over the various cubs and lions in the pride. He takes a great amount of care in training his pride-mates and loves adopting in new lions to freshen the pride. With this fatherly nature, unfortunately, comes a plethora of Dad Jokes. Beware all those who speak with him 1 on 1, his supply is never ending.
He has a, tense, relationship with the prides other male, Fish Sticks. Pantry Guy isn't quite sure why... But hes sure to warm up with time.
Behind Pantry Guys pleasing personality and loving spirit, he is quite haunted...literally. He isn't sure why he sees the spirits of lions past, but they seem happy to watch over him. These whispers are part of the reason why he is so protective over cubs, too many spirits run to him, terrified but unable to speak. They appear at the most random times, when he's on patrol, sleeping in his den, or just taking a walk. They never seem to show up when he's talking with Fish Sticks though, perhaps they're scared of him, he's never been the biggest fan of cubs...

The time has come, Xylophone has stepped down after a nasty injury, he resides now as the Pride's Grandpaw, looking after the cubs he sired.
Pantry Guy is terrified to take that first step, but that good kind of terrified, the expectation. Xylophone lead him to the King's Den and passed on the title in front of the whole pride. He grinned as the pride shouted his name to the lions past, and the spirits around him shouted back.
Pantry Guy immediately got to work, he sent Fish Sticks on a patrol and revamped the neglected adoption program. He was on cloud nine, until he started exploring. He didn't realize how strong Xylophone was, but he needed to buff up quickly or else all these other lions would walk all over him! He fought every opportunity, to not only get stronger, but to improve his reputation as well. Xylophone was so well-known, and feared, and though Pantry Guy did not agree with the kings...methods, he did respect his control over the territories.
The spirits continues to show. They started to appear with relative frequency, a few stuck around but most appeared, walked around for a bit, then left. One spirit in particular started sticking around more and more. A young cub. She couldn't have been more than 6 months old, and she was as thin as a whisker. He had heard of a great famine that was plaguing other kings territories, though it hadn't reached his yet, he saw this young cub as an omen of things to come.
