he was born when the stars fell, and lions met gods. in his adolecent years there was a terrible drought and fires, food was scarce. he was patroling every second he could, tagging along with his folded ears adopted brother. during this time he learned ruthlessness from his infamous leader, who only managed to keep their large pride fed by killing anything he could, including humans. the king saw his potential and always ensured he was well fed and healthy, training him to eventually lead a pride of his own. in the third month of the locust plague, he took down a lone wildebeast during one of his first solo patrols. at the end of the third year in the war between heaven and hell, his king sent him to take over the pride of his brother, who had sided with the angels. he kept this uneasy alliance, unable to change sides, and to reap the benifits of his predecesors work.
