Saying Kuvon is simply a kind lion would be an understatement. Some say he was born to give to others, only through his many gifts seemingly endowed to him from the Heavens. Others say he was born to fight for those who didn’t have anything better than themselves. Those of a different mind are not quite so sure. He may be both or neither. He doesn’t care either way. He doesn't bother to think about himself often, his humble nature at fault for that, perhaps.

Where did he get his individuality from? Perhaps it was a childhood event. Ever since he was a little cub, as far back as his memory stretches, his parents have been etched into his young mind. They were a fundamental part in many aspects of Kuvon's life.
But only up until the accident. Kuvon had wandered too far away from the safety of the pride. Lost, all the young cub could do was cry out for somebody to come save him. Luckily, someone did. The best person for the job came, in fact. His father came to his aid. Unfortunately, small cubs were the favorite targets for a nearby hyena clan, who all heard Kuvon's crying. His father valiantly defended him from the mongrels, only for his body to be later torn up by the greedy scavengers as Kuvon escaped. He never stopped blaming himself after that. His own mother treated him with resent for what he did. As an adolescent, the pride decided that he was nothing more than extra cargo. Extra weight they needed to get rid of. He was chased out of the pride.
Kuvon was no stranger to hard feelings. After perhaps years of wandering, he found solace in a small group of females that eventually expanded into a home, a family. He never wanted to treat another like he was treated, nor did he want anyone to feel how he once felt.
