Ghost was born many many years before our lifetime; in a time of the ancients where primal was the default. He lived with another male primal, though at this time they had no need for names. One had to earn thier name through thier actions of fame or infamy. And he would...
Ghost would earn his original name alongside his partner during the migration of Pangea. When the land broke apart and many became lost or seperated. He and his partner began following the lost or desperate creatures untill they would collapse and eventually die. The two males would strip the dying creature of its bones, flesh, and anything else they could find a use for. Because of thier new.. Habbit and thier bone armor they were given the names. Reaper and Grimm. For when one saw the two males, it was said The Grim Reaper was coming for you.
Many years would pass with the pair, untill they met thier end at the icy hands of the sea like so many others. People said it was the gods interference that finally took them down.

Years later, when Primals were seen as a mutation and an old relic. An eager lion would be taking on the challenge of leading his pride. However, this wouldn't go as planned. The pride leader would go down to the ancient burial ground and place his nose under the water; connecting himself to the ancestors and hoping for thier blessing.
When a cold presence would enter his body and not being able to handle it, the young male would die. Reapers soul had been awoken and took over the male returning to the land of the living in this new form and odd lands. Of course the first thing he did was search for his old Partner Grimm, but he was nowhere to be found among this new land. When Reaper returned to the pride and the lions realized what had happened to thier chosen leader they began calling him The Ghost, and it stuck.
Now Ghost waits here, leading this "...Modern" pride of lions and checking each cub born in the hopes it would be his old partners soul coming back. Will he ever find Grimm again? Who knows, but he will keep coming back untill he does. And that's a promise.

After Body and body Ghost had finally seen a cub resembling his long lost friend Grimm, a child smothered in a ghostly red fur, playing with some roaming manticora beetles near a golden reflecting pond.
Grimm always loved beetles.
Ghost had taken upon himself to offer on the child in the market, a measly 2 gold beetles for someone of such value. The other male had accepted ghosts offer on such a "trivial" cub, Then after finishing the transaction Ghost went over and swooped up the cub by the scruff and took him into one of the dens.
Ghost then said to the cub "You Shall be known as <a href="https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794200276309">Grimm</a> "
While starring down the cub. . .
The cub acknowledges this name as if he knew it before being taken from the market. The Cub now known as Grimm seems to immediately attach to ghost
As He starts to leave. The cub almost instinctively reaches for ghosts right paw holding onto it.
Ghost suddenly remembered that His Grimm loved to rest his. Head on that same paw. So ghost decides what he was doing can wait. Ghost then holds the cub in his right paw and carries him near one of tbe broodmothers nests. Then he lies down slowly. The Cub now known as Grimm is starting to relax and curl up in Ghosts paws, soothingly and gently. "Ghost Admires the cubs persistence in his attention. "After Grimm falls asleep Ghost sets him with one of the Broodmothers.
Ghost then leaves for his deuties for the day, and wanting Grimm to be comfortable, he gets them a friend, a Crocotta, as Ghost like the weird creatures.
Grimm ecstaticly plays with the thing, distracted and comforted.
Ghost then heads to his separate cave.
