Blessing the dirt underneath his paws with a divine kiss from the celestial night sky, Castellorizon was born into a omen like no other, one that told the tale of a special lion that mirrored the divine image of the stars in its fur. Birth at midnight, at the peak of the moon and her stars, became honored as the most blessed times, signaling great prosperity for both the cubs and the pride as a whole. Though moons had passed with no sign of such a fated lion, a prophecy of the stars growing faded over time, this pride of the stars never faltered in their spirits. Although, as time progressed, slowly but surely so did the fading hope of the pride. Lions grew weaker, older, less honor was given to the stars - a curse-like period had befallen the starry pride. A king, mirroring the image of the Earth who had birthed him, grew bitter and resentful of such a hopeless omen - one that defied his role, that he felt belittled him. A bitter king could only cultivate a bitter pride, one that grew to resent its celestial ancestry. Yet even in the face of abandoned divinity, of barren lands and resentful lions, a single star of hope could light up a dark sky into a million colors of the galaxy, cradling the moon at her highest peak - and such a star did, who came to bear the name Castellorizon. His fur was a mirror pool of the sky above, vivid colors swirling as the stars above did, breathing the spirit of ancestors past back into the pride once more - almost rumored to be a second life of sorts, of a Leonid-pelted king from more ancient times.
