King of the Jungle

Dhoruba was born on the day of the greatest storm his territory had ever seen, which is what inspired his name, which means "storm". He was born into the Flower Pride, the same pride Bloom was born into, but he also chose to leave; it was by chance that they met up again. He's on a mission to make life better for all the lions in his pride and to make the wild a better place for all. He strives to be a benevolent and wise leader. Dhoruba and Umoja view themselves as equal to their pridemates and simply make leadership decisions, not "rule" over them. In fact, more often than not they run off a democratic system, putting issues to a vote. He, Ayana, Bloom and Umoja are participated in the Championships, although he is the one who helped V’Kai and Vashkarten. He is straight.
(in this universe, sexualities are accepted, sexism is never concieved of, and all prides have two leaders- though a rare few are too evil to use democracy, they all have to have two leaders)
