Wandering Snow, the King of the Jungle

Wandering Snow is a mysterious lioness known for her affinity for magic and fortune-telling. She is kind and soft-spoken, spending most of her time practicing magic and caring for her cubs. However, she is also fiercely protective of her pride, and will not hesitate to defend them if need be. She is a dangerous foe when the situation arises.

Having been outcast from her last pride as an adolescent, Wandering Snow spent most of her younger years traveling. She was ostracized because of her unusual appearance and prophetic visions. Many called her a demon because she could see into the future through her dreams; snippets of upcoming disaster, illness, and death. Her predictions were always accurate and oftentimes unpleasant, though she was just doing her best to warn others about her visions. Because of this, others began to fear her, and she was eventually banished, forced into a life of solitude and uncertainty.

Determined to understand her power, Wandering Snow dedicated a majority of her time to learning about her abiltiies. She managed to learn quite a lot in her time spent as a solitary lioness; she met with witches and warlocks, studied under divine practitioners, and embraced the way of magic.

Eventually, she managed to find a new pride. The king, Wandering Ghost, took her under his wing and declared her as his heir. The kind-hearted king became a father figure to Wandering Snow and taught her all she needed to know to someday lead the pride. After Wandering Ghost’s retirement, Wandering Snow was named queen, and the entire pride welcomed her with open arms.

Nowadays, Wandering Snow spends most of her time tending to the pride’s needs and defending them from intruders. A powerful magic user, she has little trouble keeping her lionesses and cubs safe from harm. She intends to pass her knowledge of magic down to her children.

She also likes to tell stories to the cubs, collect flowers and herbs, and host grand festivals. She loves the snow and feels most at home in colder climates.

She is closest to Forest Spirit, her best friend, lover, and most trusted advisor. Forest Spirit was the first one to befriend Wandering Snow when she joined the pride. The two of them quickly bonded over their connection to magic and their love for nature. Their friendship blossomed into something deeper, leading them to become practically inseparable. They can often be found together, napping in flower fields or taking strolls up the mountainside.
